I'm not big on "goals" or "resolutions" I just have things I would like to achieve this year. I feel less pressure by saying I am trying to achieve something rather than making it an almighty, singular goal. Well, however you say it I want to accomplish the following things:
1. Run 1,000 miles in 2013
2. Run my first marathon safely and enjoy it as much as possible- no passing out, no injuries, no barfing
3. Move from the streets to the trails.
4. Really focus on cross training -working on my core, my legs and my arms. I HATE working on my arms and core and well, Im just going to have to get over it.
4. One word. Fartlek.
So that's it really. Run a marathon and a 1,000 miles. That's not to much to shoot for, huh?
