Hot Chocolate 15k/5k

Its that time of year. It's getting cold and the mugs of hot cocoa and hoodies are coming out. Since those things are on everyone's mind lets talk about the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k.

Lets get straight to the point. I've ran a lot of races and typically you don't get anything cool unless you place or run a distance race. But that isn't the case for this 15k/5k.

Everyone gets to experience the win.

It isn't a "small" race. No megaphones or anything like that.

This is a real event.

Start lines, DJs, corrals and the thing is you don't have to be a "runner."

You can walk.

I think its a great chance for runners and walkers a like to take part in something big and fun.

Check out the video below.

So what do you get besides a fun run?

Endless hot chocolate and a bowl of warm chocolate fondue.

And what goes well with warm cuddly foods?

Hoodies.

Check out the hoodie all racers get aka your goodie bag.

Its a real festive run followed by djs, chocolate and dancing.

Its really a one of a kind race where all types of runners, walkers, and people that just want to have fun can come together to celebrate.

You will find me running in Atlanta on January 26th but the race is all over the country. Find out when the race is your town here.

Check out me sporting some of my Hot Chocolate Gear.

Think I'm ready?

  2. I ran this event last year in Dallas. I'm thinking of doing it again. The chocolate after the race was divine. I still wear the hoodie too.

  4. I have never done one of these races but I've always wanted to. One of my favorite things in a race are the free shirts, and that is an awesome sweatshirt. The closest one to me is San Francisco and in the winter it is a treacherous road to get there.
